Ellis uses a fictional couple — Ross and Rose — as his template for all of us who have lived and loved. This is a beautifully written, emotionally powerful work — in its own way, a loving, moving tribute to the humanity in each of us. It is Ellis’ unique way of telling us that, yes, there is life after death, that there is hope after death, and that there can be love after death.
Ellis, who was born in Nova Scotia, is a former professor and researcher in entomology at the University of Guelph in Ontario. Now retired, he enjoys writing and doing volunteer work.
