Barnstead Joins Rust Records Promotion Team
Barnstead joins Rust Records promotion team.
Nashville, TN June 28, 2006 — Ryan Barnstead has joined the promotion team at Rust Records as Mid Atlantic Director of Promotions. He is the third named regional for the label with the others being Tony Michaels (Midwest) and Deej Delorenzo (West Coast).
A native of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, he commenced his promotion career at Epic Records where he worked with such artists as Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert and Patty Loveless. From there he moved to sister label Columbia Records as Midwest regional working with such artists as Montgomery Gentry and Van Zant.
In announcing the appointment Rust President, Ken Cooper noted, “We are excited to have Ryan join us at Rust Records. We have a solid release schedule between now till the year’s end and his relationships and work ethic will assist us in ensuring our continued growth.
