Orlando, FL August 1, 2006 — Christopher R. Auer’s new column, Exceptional Families with Exceptional Kids, begins with a look at Back to School issues for families with special needs children.
“We are delighted to announce Christopher R. Auer’s monthly column, and would like to extend our warmest welcome to Mr. Auer”, said Geraldine Jensen, Editor and Publisher of Families Online Magazine. He is the Board President of the KID (Knowledge in Development) Foundation, founded by Dr. Lucy Jane Miller, Ph.D, OTR and was appointed by the Governor of Colorado to the Interagency Coordinating Council, which oversees disability services to children from birth to three years old throughout the state. He is the parent of three incredible children, one of whom is diagnosed with ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder. Chris is also a sibling to a person with an autistic spectrum disorder.

She is the founder and president of Boston Area Nannies, Inc. She is called on by the media as a nanny and parenting expert, and has been affectionately dubbed America’s Nanny. Michelle has appeared on television and has been featured in print. She is the author of the new parenting series, Nanny to the Rescue!, a contributing writer in the Experts’ Guide to the Baby Years and a regular columnist in several parenting publications, including Twins Magazine.

Sylvia is a seasoned freelance writer, born and raised in Germany. Having been exposed to a variety of religions and traditions due to travel and study, Sylvia has been a student of the Bible for more than ten years, and has for the last four years taught in small groups about Biblical principles, practical Christianity, Christian parenting, as well as the spiritual use of money. Sylvia also provides Free Online Christian Parenting Courses at Suite 101.
