Groomzilla Offers Advice for Brides and Grooms, as Wedding Season Hits Full Stride
NPR, thenest.com and New York Observer Bridal Blog contributor Mike Adamick adds “Ask Groomzilla” service to popular site, “Hitched: My last year as a bachelor.”
Adamick is available as a wedding story source — offering the groom’s view of the Big Day.
— The summer wedding season is in full swing, with an estimated 2.2 million couples taking the plunge this year – each spending an estimated $27,000 on the Big Day.
While there are scores of magazines and web sites for brides, grooms often find little useful information is available.
Until now.
Groom’s blogger and National Public Radio contributor Mike Adamick has added an “Ask Groomzilla” section to his web site “Hitched: My last year as a bachelor.”
From what to wear on the Big Day to how to handle crazy in-laws, Adamick offers advice for grooms — and brides. The site also chronicles his last year as a bachelor with humorous essays and blog posts, including links to his posts on the New York Observer’s wildly popular Bridal Blog.
“I’m not an expert — I’ve just been married 37 times so I think I know a little something about how marriages should work,” Adamick jokes.
“But seriously, I’m just one guy who’s been through it all, and I’m trying to fill the information gap for grooms — and brides. In fact, many of the letters I receive are from brides trying to figure out exactly what their guys are thinking.”
Adamick’s wedding-related essays have appeared on National Public Radio, Today’s Groom magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, thenest.com, MSNBC.com, the New York Observer’s Bridal Blog and many, many major newspapers throughout the country.
Adamick is available to offer a groom’s perspective on wedding-related stories as the summer and fall wedding season hits full stride.
