Indiana Songwriter has Song Released Worldwide
Songwriter recieves great reviews and airplay.
Anderson, IN — Indiana Songwriter Steve Wallace, 35, teamed up with famed producer/actor Col.Buster Doss who put Wallace’s song “Heidi” sung by Glenn Mayo of Nashville, TN on a compilation CD which was released to radio stations Worldwide March 15,2006 on Stardust Records. The song has recieved great airplay and was number 1 on songramp.com’s Traditional Country Hot 100 Charts in April.
Wallace has been writing songs for over 25 years all while battling a rare nerve disorder called ‘Dystonia’ which affects his muscles and speech making him unable to talk at times. Wallace’s accomplishments are astounding he has helped out many people through his music including the American Cancer Society. Steve recieved the “Distinguished Hoosier” Award from the Late Indiana Gov.Frank O’Bannon in 2002. In 1997 Wallace recieved the “Outstanding Citizen” Award from the former Anderson Mayor Mark Lawler for his dedication to helping others in his Community.
Steve has also just been inducted into the Traditional Country Music Songwriters Hall Of Fame July 15,2006 for all his accomlishments and keeping country music Traditional said Bob Timmers the website manager.
