AUN transcends borders and generations, merging Japanese traditional instruments with wholly new electronic sounds and innovative range of style.
New York, NY July 27, 2006 — After 12 Years of fame with world renowned Japanese Drum Group Ondekoza, twin brothers Ryohei and Kohei Inoue are back as AUN. Unlike other Taiko groups, AUN has been crossing boundaries, merging Japanese traditional instruments with electronic sound.
The Japanese Taiko Twins will perform at two different clubs on two Saturday nights in August: MAKOR, NYC’s hottest spot for eclectic live music, on August 5th, and Knitting Factory, “the” destination site for cutting-edge and new music on, August 12, 2006.
