Mel Lindstrom Photography Donates to Women’s Educational Media Support Offered through Studio Time, Equipment Use
Mel Lindstrom, an accomplished, award-winning commercial photographer based in San Francisco, is all about giving back to help the community. Recently, the internationally recognized shutterbug donated $2,500 of studio time and equipment use to Women’s Educational Media, a local organization committed to producing and distributing films that raise awareness on important issues and make change happen.
San Francisco, CA — Mel Lindstrom, an accomplished, award-winning commercial photographer based in San Francisco, is all about giving back to help the community. Recently, the internationally recognized shutterbug donated $2,500 of studio time and equipment use to Women’s Educational Media, a local organization committed to producing and distributing films that raise awareness on important issues and make change happen.
“Inspiring meaningful social awareness is a key element of what my photography stands for,” said Lindstrom, who was honored with 26 national creative awards this year alone, ranging from ADDY Awards to top honors from the American Medical Association for a high-profile ad campaign for which he shot the photos. “I was delighted to share my studio and equipment with Women’s Educational Media who has for many years focused their messages and films on the need to create schools and communities that are safe for our children.”
The media group shot an educational video in Lindstrom’s professional 4th Street studio. Lindstrom is also reviewing possibilities to donate his expert time and creativity to other Bay Area philanthropic and medical organizations to make a positive impact on the lives of others through his photographic art.
