Babe Lehrer, author of Men, They Just Don’t Get It! will be autographing books at plays that feature stories on women’s issues and men’s issues.
Seattle, WA April 4, 2006 — Babe Lehrer, author of Men, They Just Don’t Get It! will be autographing books at plays that feature stories on women’s issues and men’s issues.
Men, They Just Don’t Get It is a collection of short stories written by women for women with a single purpose: Fun!
Included are short stories about dating, relationships, love, pregnancy, weddings, divorce, marriage, menopause, courtship, infertility, birth, family life, rejection and betrayal…Women will find these stories entertaining, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but all very real.
These stories are not meant to be a put down to men, however, as Babe compiled them a common thread did appear. Men don’t often respond in a manner that women expect or desire.
Babe discovered that these stories were much more amusing to women than to men. In fact, most men didn’t find them humorous at all. Yet, many women reading these stories fell over backwards laughing.
Babe will be attending several performances of The Women at Tacoma Little Theatre (www.tacomalittletheatre.com) during its run (April 7 - April 30). Call TLT for details: 253-272-2281. ACT Theatre in Seattle may be scheduling Babe for their run of Menopause The Musical and Defending the Cave Man. A portion of book sales at the theaters goes to the theaters.
