New Author Publishes a Book of Short Children’s Stories — ‘The One True King’

Sacramento, CA — Sandra Brock has released her first publication of short stories titled “The One True King,” written as gifts to her children, husband and a special friend.
“The One True King” is a prime example of a fun, entertaining, and morally sound children’s book. It carries underlying themes of Christianity and Biblical values, but in so doing, remains sensitive to parents and children from all faiths and all walks of life. This creatively crafted collection will carry the reader through a vast array of places, times and lives that encourage and enlighten the imagination. Sandra Brock presents a well-formed and easily read journey for children and parents alike.
In each short story, The Shepherd spends time giving of Himself, to someone on a journey, to someone alone on a country road, to someone small and afraid, to someone who has a dream. The sentiments shared, and the Scriptures offered at the end of each story, were inclined toward the person they were written for, but still, they speak to anyone who has been on a journey, had a dream, or been alone and afraid. These fable-like stories were inspired by Him, shared in love, and are now offered with the humble hope that the reader will be touched.
About the Author:
The author was born in San Francisco and predominately raised in Northern California. Having raised 2 children as a single mother, she has had her share of challenges, but like many others, has relied on her faith for strength. After writing dozens of unpublished novels, she gave up on her dream of ever being published. With her husband’s encouragement, she pursued her dream again, and it was PublishAmerica that gave her, “the opportunity these stories deserve.”
