New Photo Book “The Ghosts of Berlin - Images of a Divided City”
New photo book showing previously unpublished photos of Berlin from the collection of Ian J. Sanders. The book shows Berlin in the late 80s and early 90s.
Manchester, England June 3, 2006 — Berlin was at the centre of two world wars and was until 1989 the potential flashpoint for a third. Throughout the city are reminders of it’s violent and turbulent past. This large format photo book shows the key locations in its history, as well as some lesser known ones. The book should be of interest to anyone interested in recent European history, as well as tourists to the city, who want to see how Berlin has changed over the years and find locations not in the usual guide books.
