Red Mountain Black Releases Its First Compliation CD – Groovin’ ASIA
Red Mountain Black releases “world first” Fully recyclable Digipak of Asian design, on powerful new compilation named Groovin’ Asia. It features the best beats from Red Mountain Black Radio in Asia.
June 7, 2006 — Today, Red Mountain Black (RMB), a division of Red Mountain Records Ltd, Hong Kong, announced the compilation CD Groovin’ Asia is now for sale from www.redmountainblack.com. This announcement marks the first release from Red Mountain Records and features some of the best music from its Distribution Members. It also marks a new age in environmentally friendly packaging with the additional function of fitting 20% more CD’s on store shelves.
“We have chosen 19 highly original and unique tracks to display the talents of our Members.” says Dan Puzny, CEO of Red Mountain Records Ltd. “Our selection of R&B, Rap, New Age and World-Music tracks make it sound like a best friend’s mix-tape of all their favorite grooves. It’s the way a compilation should be put together, and the songs are the best of our Award-Winning Artists.”
The new Digipak (CD Cover) design, which is unique to Red Mountain Records, is the first of its type to be used in the world. “We wanted something unique, light, durable, practical, but most of all – environmentally friendly. We worked with the largest manufacturer in Hong Kong to achieve a world-class result. It features NO plastic and looks amazing!” added the CEO. There is one special feature only seen on the Artwork Video or by buying the CD.
Red Mountain Black Member Labels who contributed to the CD are Godmother Entertainment, Red Light Musik, Rejean Paquin/Tarot, RUGLEY records, and Trostlos Records.
Artists included are 5Cent (Top 10 seller on CDBaby for 8 Weeks in 2006), CoreyLavel (2005 LA Award for best R&B Album), Kazz, NLZ (World Premier of “Whuts Real”), Pretty Boy, Shiva in Exile (“2004 Best New-Age/World-Music CD”, Just plain Folks), and Rejean Paquin.
