Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus recognizes
leaders in the urban community.
New York, NY — On Thursday, April 6, 2006, join Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus as they honor key community and business leaders in New York’s urban community. This event is being held to give recognition to the upstanding members of the community for their outstanding commitment to making positive changes within the urban community. This event will be held at the 40/40 Club located at 6 W. 25th Street, New York, NY 10010 and will begin at 6:00pm.
This year marks the third time that Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus has presented their Annual Community and Business Leaders Appreciation Reception. The event was created to give the respect that is due to the many people who are dedicated to making the urban community of New York a better place to live in. This year’s theme is “Caring Enough to Make a Difference”. 20 recipients will receive a special award at the reception, as well as receive recognition on the floor of Madison Square Garden in front of the entire crowd at the circus performance on Saturday, April 8th at 7:30pm.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus works with Universal MazJac Enterprises, Inc. to present this intimate event each year. Universal MazJac Enterprises, Inc. is an urban marketing, advertising, and promotions agency based out of Chicago, IL. This year, MazJac established relationships between the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, The Harlem YMCA, rolling out, WBLS, the 40/40 Club and their national client Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus to make this year’s event a success.
This event has turned out to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year among the New York urban community. Around this time each year, businesses await phone calls to find out if anyone in their business has been nominated to receive an award. Businesses also participate in the nomination process by submitting names of people they believe deserve to be recognized.
