“Best of Friends,” the first book in a planned trilogy, depicts how a group of women become best of freinds and continue their relationship throughout the years, spanning the test of time.
Lansing, Michigan — While science is only just starting to acknowledge the health and emotional benefits of female friendship, author Sherry Brantley has always known that the hardest times in life are always a little easier when surrounded by your girlfriends. In her new novel, Best of Friends, Brantley presents the story of five women who tap into the power of friendship to help them get through their toughest times in life.
Sherry Brantley’s Best of Friends, novel has received two top national awards: The S’INDIE award for Best Fiction of the Year, through ASPICOMM Media, and as a finalist for Best Fiction of the year, through the Writers Marketing Association’s ‘Fresh Voices’ competition. In addition, Best of Friends was also given a prestigious four-star review from RAWSISTAZ, A national on-line book club organization.
Best of Friends, the first book in a planned trilogy, depicts how a group of women become Best of Friends and continue their relationship throughout the years. As the story unfolds, they are faced with the sudden death of a family member, marital issues, and the threat of breast cancer. “The book was written to showcase that all of us have issues, concerns and dysfunctions, and it shows how the characters overcome these obstacles individually, and collectively,” stated Brantley.
