Nashville, TN — Sonny’s current single, “The More I’m Around Some People, The More I Like My Dog” continues to hold the #1 spot on the Texas Regional Radio Report (TRRR) “Top 50,” for the fourth week in a row.
* In support of his current CPI single release “The More I’m Around Some People, The More I Like My Dog”, Sonny Burgess and his dog Tyson have teamed up with Zen Puppy to offer a promotion to radio listeners nationwide to win boxes of Puppy Energy Dog Treats. The agreement came about when executives with Zen Puppy met Sonny in the Ultra Pet Booth at CMA Music Festival where they were very impressed with the love, affection and concern he shows his white labrador, Tyson (Who is now a Zen Puppy).
* Sonny Burgess had a very busy schedule during the recent CMA Music Festival. His schedule included appearances at the Riverfront Stages, the AristoMedia Global Acoustic Afternoon (which he hosted), the Wildhorse Saloon (which he was the nights headliner) and signings at numerous booths.

* Sonny’s Dog Song single continues to pick up momentum at Dance Club’s nationwide with programmers reporting an 87% approval rating. Nashville based club connection is instituting a national dance contest whereby instructors will develop a timed dance to the song and submit it to Sonny and a group of industry experts for judging – The contest will be implemented through a new web site www.dance2sonny.com.
