Yolanda “P” is set to release her new single “V.I.P” on June 13, 2006 on Fat Nappa Records. The single features, Chinatown/Bad Boy recording artist Mega Phenom.
New York, NY June 9, 2006 — Yolanda “P” is set to release her new single “V.I.P” on June 13, 2006 on Fat Nappa Records. The single features, Chinatown/Bad Boy recording artist Mega Phenom. Also Platinum Producer Keyboard Money Mike formally of Boogie Down Productions, is taking a big part in the “V.I.P.” project by producing the music video and mixing down the single.
Yolanda “P” has had the opportunity of sharing the stage and opening up for numerous acts including, Mega Phenom, Grand Puba, Fabulous, Mary J. Blige, Horace Brown, Men in Black, Force MD’s, Skeeta Ranks, Spragga Benz, Lady Apache, Black Rob, Total, Angie Martinez, Doug E Fresh and many, many more.
She has done numerous shows including Reggae Sunsplash in Miami, Aids Awareness shows, The Million Man March, Save Our Children block parties and the Black Music Expo, just to name a few. She has performed in Florida, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Atlanta and New Jersey.
Yolanda “P” has performed all across New York State including Downtime Cafe with Keyboard Money Mike, Country Club with Maria Davis, The Funk Hut with Grandma Funk, Demorrara’s, Armenian Hall with Jose Delgado (Love Brothers), Manhattan Center and much more. She is no stranger to college performances in NYC. She is also no stranger to television or radio. She has made appearances on, 90.1 FM (WUSB), 97.1FM(CT), 88.1 FM (WCWP), 91.9FM (The Wonder Twinz Show) where she co-hosted on occasion, MTV, Video Music Box, The Wonder Twinz show on Sirius Satellite Radio, Hip-Hop Spots and Vibecheck. Among this she has sung background vocals for Burvin Harris of Twin Records, Dark Ages of Strong Island Records, and recorded songs with Skeeta Ranks, Dead Prez, Hot 97’s La La and Amen.
