Zack Kramer provides never-before-seen insight into the life of Badass Kyle Lewis, an aspiring rock star. Badass’ entire life has been spent dreaming what it’d be like to live out the life that his idols led in the 80’s. And now, his dreamed has finally achieved fruition… except for the whole “fame” part. Day in and day out, Badass lives out the dream by doing what he does best—listening to the music of his hairband heroes, drinking Budweiser until he passes out, and wetting the tight ripped jeans that he so proudly wears.
The greatly anticipated publication of Tales is sure to sell at least 5 copies. So far, we’re at 2. You can help make a difference.
Tales follows Badass, Dirty Morrison, and Mr. Kramer on their road trip to see the Rolling Stones kickoff show in Boston. Interspersed among the road trip are individual tales that tell Badass’ greater story. They are tragic. They are glorious. They are downright pathetic. They are hysterical. They are rock and roll. And no doubt are they all memorable.
Tales includes an Introduction by our friend, Arianne Warner, a picture book of over 20 priceless pictures, the lyrics to his original songs, and an After-Foreword by Badass himself. Some of the songs that Mr. Kramer has so-generously transcribed for the viewing pleasure of his scant audience include, “Heaven if I Tried,” “The Holocaust was a Myth,” and my personal favorite, “Bicycle Helmet are for P——.”
Zack Kramer wrote Tales to commemorate one of his best friends and share his touching story. By doing so, Mr. Kramer has cemented his name in the record books of America’s greatest Good Samaritans. He brought his writing to Lulu so that the universe may experience one of the most special creatures ever known to mankind.
“Kyle is a celebrity amongst college students at parties. Everybody wants to own their very own photograph of him. Everybody wants to have their picture taken next to the passed out kid who looks like he’s from the 80’s. And pretty much everybody who wants a picture ends up getting one. It really isn’t that hard … Kyle’s generous supply of being passed out has become an attraction.”

ABOUT LULU
Founded in 2002, Lulu is the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books. Without Lulu, there would be no Tales of a True American: The Legend of Badass Kyle Lewis 2003-2006. And then… then where would we all be?
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Zack Kramer graduated from college this past December. He has accrued 5 years of experience working towards accomplishing this feat. This is his 1st novel, but fret not—there are plenty more to come. He doesn’t have many friends and this forces him to write quite frequently. Sometime in August, he will publish The Yanni Story. He is currently wondering why he wrote this in the 3rd person.
